November 26th - November 30th

Welcome back! Hope everyone had a nice and relaxing week away from school. I enjoyed reading through the student's animal research projects. There were some really fantastic projects. I am pleased to see students spent a lot of time and put in great effort to completing this assignment.

MATH

WRITING

Research for writing

Dialogue is a conversation between characters.
Quotation marks show the exact words a character says.
Adjectives are describing words.
Adverbs describe or tell more about verbs, adjectives, and other adverbs.

LANGUAGE
Review: coordinating and subordinating conjunctions
A coordinating conjunction combines two simple sentences to form a compound sentence. Some coordinating conjunctions are and, or, but, and so. Always use a comma before a coordinating conjunction.
A subordinating conjunction connects a simple sentence and a fragment. The words although, because, when, unless, while, and after are subordinating conjunctions.


SCIENCE:
The students will be working on the changes that happen to environments whether they are natural disasters or man made issues.
